These fascinating pictures of Marshall Tito’s (President of Yugoslavia 1953 – 1980) impeccably preserved Blue Train show one thing for sure – the man had great taste! The wonderful decorative wood panelled walls, the 1930′s furniture, the latest radio technology really do some up mid-century luxury!

Alidad Ltd at Clerkenwell Design Week
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Clerkenwell this year, the hike across the capital was definitely worthwhile! Here is a handful of some of our favourite products.
The Saloon, on the North Front of Buscot Park in Oxfordshire was restored and refurbished by Alidad in 1995 The Saloon at Buscot Park to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the installation of the Burne-Jones’ cycle, and the centenary of the National Trust Foundation.

THE POTOMAK STUDIO
We are loving the porcelain that is made by Italian duo Donatella Parotto and Mauro Bonvecchio of the Potomak Studio. Particularly lovely are the ‘Painted’ porcelain where a watercolour effect is created from freely applied glazes.

We are very excited to announce that pieces from our Velvet Furniture collection can now be viewed at HRW ANTIQUES in Chelsea Harbour Design Centre.
