Private Eye: 50th Anniversary at the V&A

Last night a large audience gathered at the V&A to listen to Private Eye editor Ian Hislop and cartoonist Nick Newman discuss the rise of the ground-breaking satirical magazine, renowned for its unique combination of irreverent humour and hard-hitting journalism.  The magazine is 50 years old this year and to celebrate, the V&A is staging a special exhibition to commemorate the wealth of artistic talent that adorns the pages. More than 90 artists have had their artwork published over the years, this free exhibition will be open until January 8th so pop along and have a giggle!
