September at the V&A
It’s a double whammy this September at the V&A with two wonderful exhibitions opening up for our visual satisfaction.
Firstly there’s ‘Power of Making’, celebrating the role of making in our lives by presenting an eclectic selection of over 100 exquisitely crafted objects. Curated by Daniel Charny, the exhibition is a cabinet of curiosities showing works by both amateurs and leading makers from around the world, presenting a range of skills with imaginative and spectacular results.
Also at the V&A this month is the ‘Postmodernism: Style and Subversion’ exhibition. Looking at art, fashion, architecture, film, music and more the exhibition follows the postmodernism evolution from the 70s to the 80s and the changes in popular culture along the way. Revel in the colours, patterns and ideals that gave postmodernism its freedom.
